Leather Short Handled Market Basket

A true classic, this market basket is hand woven from palm, with short leather handles. Sturdy, light and great at beach, market, or for every day!

Please note: Our straw bags are made by hand and the slightly uneven edge on the top of the basket is a production feature of the the bag and not a flaw.  If you end up getting your bag wet, let it dry in the sun thoroughly. Loose bits of straw from time to time are normal and can be tucked back into basket or snipped off. Leather may be lighter in color than shown in picture.

To clean, entire bag may be submerged in soapy water, scrubbed with a soft brush, rinsed and set in the sun to dry. Allow the basket to dry thoroughly to prevent mold.

To clean leather, use a mild leather soap.
